The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by ‘Abd al- Malik b. ‘Umar through a different chain of narrators. This version has:They uncovered my private parts, and when they found that the hair had not begun to grow they put me among the captives

La tradition mentionnée ci-dessus a aussi été transmise par ‘Abd al-Malik b. ‘Umar par une autre chaîne de rapporteurs. Cette version précise : « Ils ont découvert mes parties intimes, et lorsqu’ils ont vu que les poils n’avaient pas commencé à pousser, ils m’ont mis parmi les captifs. »
