Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) gave az-Zubayr the land as a fief up to the reach of his horse when he runs. He, therefore, made his horse run until it stopped. He then threw his flog. Thereupon he said: Give him (the land) up to the point where his flog has reached

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a donné à az-Zubayr une terre en fief jusqu’à la distance atteinte par son cheval au galop. Il a donc fait courir son cheval jusqu’à ce qu’il s’arrête, puis il a lancé son fouet. Le Prophète ﷺ a alors dit : « Donnez-lui (la terre) jusqu’à l’endroit où son fouet est tombé. »
