Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:To those also, to whom your right hand was pledged, give their due portion. A man made an agreement with another man (in early days of Islam), and there was no relationship between the ; one of them inherited from the other. The following verse of Surat Al-Anfal abrogated it: "But kindred by blood have prior right against each other

Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas : « À ceux aussi à qui votre main droite était liée, donnez leur part due. » Un homme avait conclu un accord avec un autre homme (au début de l’islam), sans lien de parenté, et l’un héritait de l’autre. Le verset suivant de la sourate Al-Anfal l’a abrogé : « Mais les proches parents ont plus de droits les uns sur les autres. »
