سنن أبي داود 288

Aishah, wife of Prophet (ﷺ), said:Umm Habibah, daughter of Jahsh, sister-in-law of Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and wife of 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf, had a flow of blood for seven years. She asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: This is not menstruation but only vein; so you should take a bath and pray. 'Aishah said: She used to take bath in a wash-tub in the apartment of her sister Zainab daughter of Jahsh ; the redness of (her) blood dominated the water

Rapporté par Aishah, épouse du Prophète ﷺ رضي الله عنها : Umm Habibah, fille de Jahsh, belle-sœur du Messager d’Allah ﷺ et épouse de 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf, a eu un écoulement de sang pendant sept ans. Elle a interrogé le Messager d’Allah ﷺ à ce sujet. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Ce n’est pas la menstruation, mais seulement une veine ; donc tu dois te laver et prier. » 'Aishah a dit : Elle se lavait dans une bassine dans la chambre de sa sœur Zaynab, fille de Jahsh ; la rougeur de son sang colorait l’eau
