سنن أبي داود 242

Aishah reported :When the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) would take a bath because of sexual defilement, according to the version of Sulaiman, in the beginning he would pour water with his right hand (upon his left hand); and according to the version of Musaddad, he would wash both (hands) pouring water from the vessel upon his right hand. According to the agreed version, he then would wash the private part. He would then perform ablution as he did for prayer, then put his hands in the vessel and made the water go through his hair. When he knew that water had reached the entire surface of the body and cleaned it well, he would pour water upon his head three times. If some water was left, he would pour it also upon himself

Rapporté par Aishah (la mère des croyants) رضي الله عنها : Lorsque le Messager d’Allah ﷺ prenait un bain rituel après une impureté majeure, selon la version de Sulaiman, il commençait par verser de l’eau avec sa main droite (sur sa main gauche) ; et selon la version de Musaddad, il lavait les deux mains en versant de l’eau du récipient sur sa main droite. Selon la version commune, il lavait ensuite la partie intime. Puis il faisait les ablutions comme pour la prière, puis mettait ses mains dans le récipient et faisait passer l’eau dans ses cheveux. Lorsqu’il savait que l’eau avait atteint toute la surface de son corps et qu’il l’avait bien nettoyé, il versait de l’eau sur sa tête trois fois. S’il restait de l’eau, il s’en versait aussi sur lui-même
