سنن أبي داود 22

Narrated Amr ibn al-'As: AbdurRahman ibn Hasanah reported: I and Amr ibn al-'As went to the Prophet (ﷺ). He came out with a leather shield (in his hand). He covered himself with it and urinated. Then we said: Look at him. He is urinating as a woman does. The Prophet (ﷺ), heard this and said: Do you not know what befell a person from amongst Banu Isra'il (the children of Israel)? When urine fell on them, they would cut off the place where the urine fell; but he (that person) forbade them (to do so), and was punished in his grave. Abu Dawud said: One version of Abu Musa has the wording: "he cut off his skin". Another version of Abu Musa goes: "he cut off (part of) his body

Rapporté par Amr ibn al-‘As, selon AbdurRahman ibn Hasanah : Lui et Amr ibn al-‘As sont allés voir le Prophète ﷺ. Il est sorti avec un bouclier en cuir à la main, s’est couvert avec et a uriné. Nous avons alors dit : « Regardez-le, il urine comme une femme. » Le Prophète ﷺ a entendu cela et a dit : « Ne savez-vous pas ce qui est arrivé à une personne parmi les enfants d’Israël ? Quand de l’urine les touchait, ils coupaient la partie touchée ; mais cet homme leur a interdit de le faire, et il a été puni dans sa tombe. » Abu Dawud a dit : Une version d’Abu Musa dit : « Il a coupé sa peau. » Une autre version d’Abu Musa dit : « Il a coupé une partie de son corps. »
