سنن أبي داود 1921

Ibrahim bin ’Uqabah said “Kuraib told me that he asked Umamah bin Zaid saying tell me how you did in the evening when you rode behind the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ). He said “We came to the valley where the people make their Camels kneel down to take rest at night.” The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) made his she Camel kneel down and he then urinated. He then called for water for ablution and performed the ablution but he did not perform minutely (but performed lightly). I asked Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ), prayer? He replied “Prayer ahead of you”. He then mounted (the Camel) till we came to Al Muzadalifah. There iqamah for the sunset prayer was called. The people then made their Camels kneel down at their places. The Camels were not unloaded as yet, iqamah for the night prayers was called and he prayed. The people then unloaded the Camels. The narrator Muhammad added in his version of the tradition How did you do when the morning came? He replied Al Fadl rode behind him and I walked on foot among the people of the Quraish who went ahead

Rapporté par Ibrahim bin ‘Uqabah : Kuraib m’a dit qu’il avait demandé à Umamah bin Zaid : « Raconte-moi ce que tu as fait le soir où tu étais derrière le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. » Il répondit : « Nous sommes arrivés dans la vallée où les gens font agenouiller leurs chameaux pour se reposer la nuit. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a fait agenouiller sa chamelle, a uriné, puis a demandé de l’eau pour faire les ablutions, mais il les a faites légèrement. Je lui ai demandé : “La prière ?” Il répondit : “La prière est devant toi.” Il est alors remonté sur la chamelle jusqu’à ce que nous arrivions à Al-Muzdalifah. Là, l’iqamah pour la prière du coucher du soleil a été faite. Les gens ont fait agenouiller leurs chameaux à leur place. Les chameaux n’étaient pas encore déchargés que l’iqamah pour la prière du soir a été faite et il a prié. Ensuite, les gens ont déchargé les chameaux. » Le narrateur Muhammad ajoute dans sa version : « Qu’as-tu fait le matin ? » Il répondit : « Al-Fadl monta derrière lui et moi, je marchais à pied parmi les gens de Quraysh qui étaient devant. »
