Narrated Abdullah ibn Qurt: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The greatest day in Allah's sight is the day of sacrifice and next the day of resting which Isa said on the authority of Thawr is the second day. Five or six sacrificial camels were brought to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and they began to draw near to see which he would sacrifice first. Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Qurt رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Le jour le plus grand aux yeux d’Allah est le jour du sacrifice, puis vient le jour du repos. » Isa a rapporté de la part de Thawr que c’est le deuxième jour. Cinq ou six chameaux de sacrifice furent amenés au Messager d’Allah ﷺ et ils s’approchèrent pour voir lequel il sacrifierait en premier. Lorsqu’ils tombèrent morts, il dit quelque chose à voix basse, que je n’ai pas compris. J’ai donc demandé : « Qu’a-t-il dit ? » On me répondit qu’il avait dit : « Que celui qui veut en prendre un morceau le fasse. »
