سنن أبي داود 1647

Ibn al-Saidi said :Umar employed me to collect the sadaqah. When I finished doing so and gave it to him, he ordered payment to be given to me. I said: I did only for Allah’s sake, and my reward will come from Allah. He said: Take what you are given, for I acted (as a collector) during the time of the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) and he assigned me a payment. Thereupon, I said the same kind of thing as you have said, to which Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) said: When you are given something without asking for it, you should use it for your own purpose and as sadaqah

Ibn al-Saidi رضي الله عنه a dit : Omar m’a chargé de collecter la sadaqah. Quand j’ai terminé et que je la lui ai remise, il a ordonné qu’on me donne une part. J’ai dit : « Je l’ai fait uniquement pour Allah, et ma récompense viendra d’Allah. » Il a dit : « Prends ce qu’on te donne, car j’ai agi comme collecteur à l’époque du Messager d’Allah ﷺ et il m’a attribué une part. J’ai alors dit la même chose que toi, et le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : “Quand on te donne quelque chose sans que tu l’aies demandé, utilise-le pour toi-même et comme sadaqah.” »
