سنن أبي داود 1556

Abu Hurairah said When the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) died and Abu Bakr was made his successor after him and certain Arab clans apostatized. Umar bin Al Khattab said to Abu Bakr How can you fight with the people until they say “There is no God but Allah” so whoever says “There is no God but Allah”, he has protected his property and his person from me except for what is due from him, and his reckoning is left to allah. Abu Bak replied I swear by Allah that I will certainly fight with those who make a distinction between prayer and zakat, for zakat is what is due from property. I swear by Allah that if they were to refuse me a rope of camel (or a female kid, according to another version)which they used to pay the Messenger of Allah, I will fight with them over the refusal of it. Umar bin Al Khattab said I swear by Allah, I clearly saw Allah had made Abu Bakr feel justified in tighting and I recognized that it was right. Abu Dawud said This tradition has been transmitted by Rabah bin Zaid from Ma’mar and Al Zaubaidi from Al Zuhri has “If they were to refuse me a female kid.” The version transmitted by ‘Anbasah from Yunus on the authority of Al Zuhri has “a female kid”

Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه a rapporté : Quand le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est décédé et qu’Abu Bakr lui a succédé, certaines tribus arabes ont apostasié. Omar ibn Al Khattab a dit à Abu Bakr : « Comment peux-tu combattre les gens jusqu’à ce qu’ils disent : “Il n’y a de dieu qu’Allah” ? Car celui qui dit “Il n’y a de dieu qu’Allah” protège ses biens et sa personne de moi, sauf ce qui est dû, et son jugement appartient à Allah. » Abu Bakr répondit : « Par Allah, je combattrai ceux qui font une distinction entre la prière et la zakat, car la zakat est un droit sur les biens. Par Allah, si on me refusait même une corde de chamelle (ou une jeune chèvre, selon une autre version) qu’ils donnaient au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, je me battrai contre eux pour ce refus. » Omar ibn Al Khattab dit : « Par Allah, j’ai alors compris qu’Allah avait inspiré à Abu Bakr la justesse de ce combat, et j’ai reconnu que c’était la vérité. » Abu Dawud a dit : Ce récit a été transmis par Rabah ibn Zaid de Ma’mar, et Al Zaubaidi de Al Zuhri avec : « S’ils me refusaient une jeune chèvre. » La version transmise par ‘Anbasah de Yunus d’après Al Zuhri dit : « une jeune chèvre. »
