سنن أبي داود 1312

Narrated Anas: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered the mosque (and saw that) a rope tied between two pillars. He asked: What is this rope (for) ? The people told him: This is (for) Hamnah b. Jahsh who prays (here). When she is tired, she reclines on it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: She should pray as much as she has strength. When she is tired, she should sit down. This version of Ziyad has: He said: What is this ? The people told him: This is for Zainab who prays. When she becomes lazy, or is tired, she holds it. He said: Undo it. One of you should pray in good spirits. When he is lazy or tired, he should sit down

Rapporté par Anas رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ entra dans la mosquée et vit une corde attachée entre deux colonnes. Il demanda : « Qu’est-ce que cette corde ? » Les gens lui dirent : « C’est pour Hamnah bint Jahsh qui prie ici. Quand elle est fatiguée, elle s’appuie dessus. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dit : « Qu’elle prie tant qu’elle en a la force. Quand elle est fatiguée, qu’elle s’asseye. » Dans une autre version de Ziyad : Il demanda : « Qu’est-ce que c’est ? » Les gens répondirent : « C’est pour Zaynab qui prie. Quand elle devient paresseuse ou fatiguée, elle s’y accroche. » Il dit : « Détachez-la. Que chacun prie quand il est en forme. S’il est fatigué ou paresseux, qu’il s’asseye. »
