This tradition has also been transmitted through a different chain of narrators by Jabir b. 'Abd Allah. This version adds:He (the Prophet) turned to the people and said: When one of you comes (on Friday) while the imam is preaching, he should pray two rak'ahs and make them short

Ce récit a aussi été transmis par une autre chaîne de rapporteurs par Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah. Cette version ajoute : Le Prophète s’est tourné vers les gens et a dit : « Quand l’un de vous arrive (le vendredi) pendant que l’imam prêche, qu’il fasse deux unités de prière et qu’il les écourte. »
